when the clock reads 2:15ami seem to blog at the oddest hour but a sudden urge compelled me to log into my cobweb filled corner of my blogger account i have patterns don't I, blogging after every major exam that sounds really geekish well i do stay up with the an-shuang feeling right now (with all honesty, this is my first time staying up so late just slacking around) it's the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!! = possession of the ability to laze around and snooze till lunchtime; and! no more blurry eyed clambering for alarm clock at 5:45am to shut it up heh OP's on wednesday, oh wait that's just tomorrow because right now it's tuesday... wowee i have yet to do my I&R and i've been pro-cras-ti-nat-ing... on the bright side i did up my cue cards today! im gibberish again flashback! grad day; fos; fac breakfast; banner~; ju-on; big thunderstorm zomg; promos; PW lessons? (in fishtank and every other venue possible to while time away); townnnn; SCREAM! you get the gist satisfaction yes. not only because of the tangible accomplishments through this period of time, there were uncertainties. but there's one thing i'm certain about: i've grown alot more. matured. i've learnt to appreciate, not just merely gifts or nice little things, efforts or kindness. but appreciate people themselves. for who they are. for the joy they seem to generate :D fac comm <3 i miss you people already~ ATHENIANS!

it was dejavu.the feeling took quite long to sink in, and then when it did, it hurt. last year in pday, it was exactly this same situation. like i said, dejavu. when the truth really did sink in, i was more worried about our team than ever. everyone was like stoning and with the expressionless look on their faces, i was damn scared they would take it too hard on themselves. but, i'm proud of our team. not only because of all the crazy stuff we did together since the start of last year on this same project, but also because of the way we took this setback and this disappointment. i really hope that not a single one of you, alfred, glenn, kenii or joonfai, should ever feel bad because of the results, because as corny as this may sound, we really put in our everything. we may not have alighted at the destination we hoped for, but the journey was definitely worthwhile. the booming disco room, the parties at glenn's house, the guitar hero madness, the champagne supernova 'sung' over and over again, stayover at the hive, visits to cine in home clothes, the facebook session up till 3am, the list goes on... and for all the things we've been through, i'll never forget them. so thank you. |
